Our mission is to protect religious minorities, advance religious freedom and other human rights, and promote global awareness and understanding of liberal religion. We believe that religious freedom encompasses not only freedom of religion but also freedom within religion. Our work spans diverse activities: from supporting projects and advocating with the UN and governments to organising courses, dialogues, and cultural exchange. We strive to foster a global community of liberal thinkers who believe that free and liberal religion not only aids personal spiritual growth but also contributes to a better and more just world. IARF organises regularly conferences around relevant issues. IARF was granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
