The aim of the association is to study the place and mobilise the resources of religions and convictions within a national framework and a European construction of a social, democratic and humanist dimension. It draws in particular on the texts of the social doctrine drawn up by the Catholic Church and on those of the other Christian Churches in the social, economic and ecological fields.
The association strives to promote dialogue, particularly intercultural, ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue, by informing and deepening their respective positions on specific social, ethical and political issues, including human rights.

DECERE is partner of the Committee for interreligious & interconvictional Dialogue
