At Alliance ELIANT we represent a European network of initiatives for applied Anthroposophy in education (Waldorf schools), agriculture (biodynamic farming), social-therapeutic centers including the Camphill Institutions, and integrative medicine (Anthroposophic Hospitals, Trainings and Practices). What all these initiatives have in common is the working fundament of anthroposophy, which is the science of self-knowledge / “human wisdom” that Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925) developed during his lifetime. As a result, these initiatives are not only spreading across all continents through personal initiatives but also have an interreligious character. A Waldorf school, for example, operates differently in Buddhist Bangkok than in Muslim Egypt, in Japan, or in China.
In December 2025, Michaela Glöckler, President of Alliance ELIANT, was invited to contribute at the “100 Years Rudolf Steiner” Conference held at Harvard Divinity School, engaging with scholars, faith leaders, and educators from around the world.

The All-Africa Anthroposophic Training (AAAT) is one of the current ELIANT projects. Around 100 – 130 participants from 15–20 African countries come together to study applied anthroposophy in agriculture, Waldorf and curative education, social work, ecology, and Anthroposophic care and medicine, while explicitly learning from one another across different religions, traditions, and beliefs.
